Background
This one day programme investigates the two aspects of Human Resource Policies and Human Resource Planning, both of which are core functions of Human Resource Management.
The programme is designed to give delegates attending a broad overview of Human Resource Policies and their implications on Human Resource Management and the rest of the organisation. Delegates are exposed to the need for and creation of meaningful policies.
Also covered in this programme are Human Resource Planning and the necessary links between Organisational Strategy, Human Resource Strategy and the resultant requirement for workforce planning.

- Discuss the macro and micro environmental factors influencing Human Resource Planning;
- Understand and be able to conduct a basic Human Resource Inventory;
- Understand and be able to conduct a basic Human Resource Audit;
- Write a basic Human Resource Plan;
- Understand and implement methods of acquiring talent and the need for retaining talent within the organisation.
